Located in the sea side town of Folkstone,Kent the site offers a view of the ocean while still being long and narrow. Students were asked to create a masterplan fitting approximately 16-20 beach huts. The hut was to be designed and repeated in the masterplan, offering an opportunity to make the design cohesive, practical and smart. The design of the hut features an interesting use of space to maximise the view of the ocean each hut gets while still providing them with privacy.
